IPTF response on FAMR

The Financial Advice Market Review (FAMR) was set up in October 2015 by the Government to look into the advice gap and how to encourage a healthy demand side for financial advice. While many respondents to the review will focus on investment advice, it is important that people’s protection needs are also considered. Consequently, the Income Protection Task Force (IPTF) of which Peter Le Beau is chairman, gave its response to the Review’s terms of reference (https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/financial-advice-market-review-terms-of-reference/financial-advice-market-review-terms-of-reference) in December 2015. The full IPTF response is set out below.
