Generali’s new Global Travel Protection plan offers a flexible package, with accidental death benefit, permanent disability benefit and 24/7 multinational global assistance. Cover also includes loss of luggage and personal effects, lost or stolen ID cards or travel documents and personal liability cover. The plan is aimed at o0rganisations with 250+ employees.
The plan is designed to be an integral part of a benefits package that will also help employers fulfil their duty of care responsibilities, while also supporting recruitment and retention. The single flat, annual premium also means minimal admin and accounting too Generali says.
Comment: This plan offers a range of benefits useful to the work traveller. Including PA cover is also valuable protection for the employer, who might otherwise risk claims if a travelling employee becomes injured.
The plan’s concept is really quite simple, but provides a good range of insurance covers, while the 24/7 global assistance provides peace of mind too and can help out in a whole range of situations.
