How much pay would you give up to achieve a more balanced life? That’s the question that LifeSearch recently put to around 2000 adults – and the answer was highly revealing. Most of us would be theoretically happy to sacrifice some of our pay if it made us happier, and around half of us would happily give up a 5 – 10 per cent chunk of our salary. 1. What was the first record/CD/download you can remember buying? I wish I could say it was something like Metallica or AC/DC but actually the first CD I ever owned was George Formby's 'When I'm cleaning Windows', but not by choice, my grandparents bought for me saying it was a classic. What was the first record/CD/download you can remember buying? Avril Lavigne ‘Let Go’. I must have been about 8 years old then. My music taste has changed somewhat since then. Our last poll asked “Will we see a time when today's added value benefits become the core product, with insurance being the add on?”. Just under 60% of respondents felt that this was inevitable. A quarter of people felt that this wouldn’t be the case and 15% remained undecided.
